Hey there, I’m Erika!

For some people, words are just easy.  Those people are a bit of a strange breed, I know.  I’m one of them.  Most people struggle to find the “right” words or fret a bit over the grammar.  Many take on their own writing anyway because they just think they SHOULD be able to do it or at least learn it.

Imagine if we all had that same mind-set about our taxes, or our car maintenance!

I’m lucky enough to be married to a brilliant car-guy who gets car maintenance like I get words.  I haven’t had to think about an oil change in years!

When you’re working in your zone of genius, “work” becomes joyful and fulfilling.  I’m thankful that I get the opportunity to provide the words other businesses need.  The video editing side of my business fulfills my need to work with the details.  These are two things that I truly love being able to combine.

Starting from a lifelong love of reading and learning, and adding a college degree in Communications focused on writing, plus an internship and corporate experience in video editing, I’ve got your communication needs covered.

There is a lot of noise and hype online.  You can find anything, be anything, and say anything.  I believe that true, clear communication can still cut through all of that.  Truth, honesty and clarity are still powerful, and I am here to help businesses who want to share their wisdom with the world through those lenses.  You can be clear and concise and still reach people.  Many people say “be authentic” and mean “create the persona you think your audience needs”.  I say, be true, be real, and share what you are passionate about.  That kind of authenticity will draw people to you.
